Asian pop culture fans will gather in Germany this summer as Proud Nerd Productions launches ASIAN REVOLUTION, a new event dedicated to music, fandoms, and cultural experiences. Taking place on August 29 and 30, 2026 at HALLE 45 in Mainz, the festival aims to bring together different Asian entertainment scenes through concerts, fan activities, and immersive experiences.
Known for its KPOP REVOLUTION events, Proud Nerd Productions is now expanding its concept with ASIAN REVOLUTION, a festival designed to highlight a wider range of Asian artists, cultures, and communities. By opening the event to multiple entertainment scenes, the organizers aim to create a larger meeting point for fans beyond the K-pop sphere.
Expanding Beyond K-pop
For its first edition, ASIAN REVOLUTION has already unveiled a lineup featuring artists from various Asian entertainment scenes, including Leon Sash, Sunny Lukas, KISU, SuperThai, YOUNITE, Gunner, Newton,, LU, Park Woojin, 1Verse, (S)TRONG, JEY, and girl group Ifeye. While Korean and Thai artists have become increasingly present at European events in recent years, the inclusion of Sri Lankan performers marks a rarer and refreshing addition to the lineup, further highlighting ASIAN REVOLUTION’s ambition to open its doors to a wider spectrum of Asian cultures and music scenes.
Throughout the weekend, attendees will also have access to various fan benefits including panels, autograph sessions, selfies, photo-ops, and dedicated convention spaces designed to bring fans closer to the artists and the community itself.
AFTERPARTY
The celebration will continue on Saturday night with an official afterparty featuring DJ ROOTS and DJ SLEEK, both known within the European K-culture event scene. Included in Saturday and Weekend tickets, the aftershow will also offer separate ticket options for attendees.
Previously seen at the K-Street Festival in Paris, DJ ROOTS recently shared his vision of music as a way to connect audiences and cultures during an interview with us.
The artist also described DJs as cultural ambassadors capable of “connecting worlds and creating unforgettable experiences,” a vision that perfectly reflects the atmosphere ASIAN REVOLUTION hopes to create through its music and community.
DJ SLEEK, who also performed during K-Street Festival, will join the afterparty lineup, further strengthening the connection between Europe’s growing Asian music and nightlife scene.
