At the heart of the K-Pop Revolution in Mainz, we had the chance to meet two artists who made a lasting impression with their sincerity and energy. from20, a true « Eye Candy » of the event, charmed the audience with his charisma and approachability. Meanwhile, HELLO GLOOM managed to capture the fans’ hearts thanks to his unique style and bright smile. In this interview, they look back at their journey, their inspirations, and their aspirations.
Léane : Can you tell us about a key moment in your career, a turning point that changed your vision as an artist?
HELLO GLOOM : Before releasing my song Dancing in the Dark, I went through a really difficult period. It was a complicated time for me, filled with doubt. But I tried to take these difficulties philosophically, to live them fully while continuing to follow my own path. That path felt right, in line with the world of HELLO GLOOM. That’s why I decided to release that song. And honestly, publishing it was a real turning point in my career. That’s truly how I feel about it.
from20 : And for me, working with HELLO GLOOM and building the Way Better project together was truly a major turning point for me as an artist. It’s no longer just a question of what I want to do artistically. There’s also the reality: making money, managing a business, dealing with all sorts of issues. And having a partner to think through all of that with, someone to share these responsibilities with, is something I am deeply grateful for.
Léane : And speaking of which, do you have a memorable memory with them?
from20 x HELLO GLOOM : We think every day spent with the fans is something memorable. And today, here at K-POP Revolution in Mainz, we met a huge number of fans, and they gave us incredible energy.
Léane : What would you like to accomplish in the coming years?
from20 x HELLO GLOOM : The Way Better world tour. Becoming number one in K-Pop. K-Pop Demon Hunters! Yes, Demon Hunters. The Saja Boys !
Léane : Any last message for your fans?
from20 x HELLO GLOOM : We are from20 and Hello Gloom! We often perform abroad, and when we can meet you in person, it truly makes us happy.
