Thai stars Jimmy Jitaraphol Potiwihok and Sea Tawinan Anukoolprasert brought a burst of excitement to Paris during their two-day visit in May 2025.
The weekend kicked off on May 24th with an immersive fan meeting that lasted all day. Fans were treated to an array of activities, including live performances of their songs, interactive games, and a dedicated Q&A session. The event also featured special fan benefit moments such as exclusive group pictures, high-fives, and a warm « send-off » opportunity, allowing fans to connect directly with the duo.
The excitement continued on May 25th as Jimmy and Sea made a special appearance at Tout à Fait Thai Festival in Paris. They delighted the crowd with further performances, showcasing their musical talents to a wider audience. Following their appearance, I had the incredible opportunity to interview the duo with a few simple questions.
Léane : At the Y Universe Awards 2024, Last Twilight was a massive success, winning Best BL Series, Best Screenplay, and even Best Actor. Does this recognition influence how you approach your new project, My Magic Prophecy.
Sea : I don’t feel a lot of pressure, but we certainly put all our potential and effort into the new series. The mood on set has been very good, and the environment while shooting has been positive. Because of that, I think the feedback we receive from the audience will be good.
Jimmy : Of course, in terms of confidence, I feel I have to bring even more, for a couple of key reasons. First is the character itself. My character in My Magic Prophecy is a « super doctor » who possesses a lot of confidence. The second reason is that this is our first project filmed outside of a typical GMMTV production structure. We feel a responsibility to bring all our prior experience and knowledge to share with the new team.
Léane : In just three words, how would you describe working together?
Sea : I think we simply focus on « keep learning each other. »
Léane : This is your first time in Paris for both a fan meeting and a festival. How do you feel about the experience?
Sea : It’s exciting ! It’s our first time in France, and there have been so many interesting things to see. I truly love all the fans. Yesterday at the fan meeting, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, seeing all the fans having fun and sharing in everything we were doing. I feel like they are like family. Every fan meeting, everywhere we go, the fans feel like family, and the welcome was incredibly warm. I definitely want to come back again.
Jimmy : I also want to thank all the fans in France. They are so kind and so nice. The atmosphere and the people here are fantastic. And this city has so many historic places ! I have to thank you all for welcoming us here.
Léane : One question each, Sea, are you considering opening a pop-up store for your personal brand in Europe soon?
Sea : Not right now, unfortunately. Opening a physical store requires a very significant cost. I think shipping internationally might be the best way to reach fans for the time being. But if a good opportunity arises for me to come back here, then why not?
Léane : And Jimmy, what is one key thing you have learned about yourself through acting?
Jimmy : Before I entered the entertainment industry, I tended to focus entirely on logic, reason, and technical knowledge. I wasn’t always focused on empathy, kindness, or the soft skills of communication, the way to really connect with another person. Acting has really taught me that part. I think the issue of communication is one of the most important things in socialization, globally. That is the most important skill that acting has taught me, and it helps me connect with people all around the world.
Léane : Could you leave a short message for your French and European fans?
Jimmy & Sea : Thank you to all the European fans that came here and supported us. We hope to see you all on our next project, and maybe we can have fun together next time. Thank you very much for your support ! Thank you to all the fans who spent time with us yesterday. That was a great memory. You are the reason both of us were able to come here.
