On August 23, LUN8 finally brought their energy to Paris. For the first time, the group met French LUV8 at Cabaret Sauvage, turning an intimate evening into a colorful and lively celebration filled with music, games, and unforgettable interactions.
After taking their first European tour around the continent in 2025 without a stop in France, LUN8 returned this year with the opportunity to finally meet French LUV8. And despite the intimate setting of Cabaret Sauvage, the members made sure to fill every corner of the venue with their energy.
For our first time seeing LUN8 live, it only took a few seconds and the opening performance to understand what would define the rest of the evening: six members giving their all on stage and making the most of every moment shared with their fans.
Setting the Tone
LUN8 opened the concert with BACK, immediately setting the tone for the evening. With its powerful choreography and fast-paced performance, the song gave the audience little time to settle in before the group launched into the rest of the show.
From Lost and Nauty to XX, Wild Heart, and Voyager, the members moved through their setlist with an infectious drive. Despite the smaller audience, the atmosphere never felt empty.
Instead, the intimacy of the venue created more opportunities for exchanges between LUN8 and their fans, making the evening feel less distant and more like a shared moment.
The colorful atmosphere was also enhanced by the lighting throughout the concert, which perfectly followed the different moods of the performances.
A stage made for performance
One of the highlights of the evening came with SNEAKERS. Three members took part in creating its point choreography, and seeing it performed live gave the song another dimension. The mirror-like movements between the members were particularly striking, creating one of the most memorable visual moments of the night.
SUPER POWER was another standout, bringing a playful side to the set and giving the members another opportunity to fully engage with the audience.
Throughout the concert, LUN8 never seemed to hold back. From the precision of their stages to the more spontaneous moments with the audience, Jin su, Chael, Takuma, Jun woo, Ian and Yuma brought a warm and good-natured spirit that remained present from beginning to end.
Baguette, croissant, or macaron?
Between performances, the members took time for several ments and games, creating some of the evening’s funniest moments. One game saw the group divided into three very French-themed teams:
Team Baguette, formed by Takuma and Jun Woo; Team Croissant, with Chael and Ian; and Team Macaron, made up of Jin Su and Yuma.
Their mission was simple: read French phrases, while the audience decided who had the best pronunciation by applauding as loudly as possible.
While Team Baguette and Team Macaron handled the challenge particularly well, Team Croissant provided plenty of laughs as Chael and Ian faced the difficulties of French pronunciation, especially the famous « J” and “R.” The result was a lighthearted moment that brought plenty of laughter from
the crowd and highlighted the playful chemistry between the members.
Taking a moment to slow down
After an evening largely defined by movement, pop sounds, and high-energy performances, If I Could offered a completely different atmosphere.
Coming shortly before the end of the concert, the song created a calmer and more emotional moment. After spending most of the evening dancing, playing, and exchanging with the crowd, LUN8 allowed the room to slow down and simply take in the moment.
The group then returned to a more energetic mood with Live In The Moment, before closing the evening with MON2SUN and their final goodbyes to the fans.
For French fans who had been waiting for the group to finally make a stop in France, this first meeting was long overdue. And judging by the energy shared between LUN8 and LUV8 throughout the evening, hopefully it will not be the last.
